Thanks to Borre Secondary school and our library friends- we have managed to set up 4 new libraries in the far west Nepal.

Meena writes ;

“Its great achievement to set up four libraries in far west of Nepal in monsoon season. Its second times for EFL to deliver stuff for far west.  Its about 750 km from Pokhara and took almost four days to reach there. The teachers and students are very happy to get all kind of books. The people of far west have “CHHAUPADI PARTHA” it means the women stay in kind of shed (stay in jungle, depend on places) from home during the menstruation time. It is one of the biggest misconceptions of far west. And personally I hope it will be tried to change even a tiny bit in their mind from the EFL books which we have provided to schools because we have kept some books belongs menstruation. It was wonderful trip. I am very hopeful that our books will help them to aware to change their mentality.”

Thank you all of you who have made this possible !
